Lenovo Legion Y520 Ubuntu 16.04 Unix Bench

機械学習用のノートPCとして購入したLenovo Legion Y520をUSBメモリにインストールしたUbuntu 16.04で動かしている状態で、Unix Benchでベンチマークをとってみました。

4コア時で3957.9でした。

さくらVPSの4GBプラン(月額4,200円くらい)が3100くらいだそうなので、それ以上ということでしょうか。最大消費電力が130W/時くらいらしいので、24時間使い続けて2,500円くらいなので、電気代だけで考えればVPS使うよりいいですね。

USBメモリで起動しているので、超高速な内蔵SSDを使ったらもう少しスコアがあるんでしょうか?ディスクスピードはあまり関係ないのかな??
